Baby Hunter is such a special kid for my family and I. Not only is he the son of one of my favorite families in Naperville, but also one of “my babies” AKA one of my newborn customers. Click HERE to see his newborn session.

When he was only 3 months old, this little man was hit with two viruses, rhino enterovirus and RSV. His little airways were struggling. Add on pneumonia. He was admitted to Edward Hospital’s NICU, and few days later, he got transferred to Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago where he fought the battle of his life. It warmed my heart to know that the photos and video I had done for his newborn session just few months back, were keeping his parents company during the long, scary and lonely hours by his bedside.

At the hospital room. My work kept her parents company and gave them hope! I love my job and what I am able to give back.

While he was at the hospital, I told his mom that I would do a session for him as a “welcome back home” to celebrate his life! When he was 4 months old, he was finally released back home where his 3 older brothers, mom and dad anxiously waited for him. Baby Hunter is ALWAYS smiling. He is just such a joy to have around and we thank God for your life and for healing you.
