The Story Behind Petite Studios

My photography journey began with pets! I started a pet photography business back in 2010 called, Pet Studios, combining my love for dogs and photography. When I became a mom, I thought capturing my newborn would be easy. I quickly realized newborn photography is challenging—you need to understand baby safety, soothing techniques, and the right angles.

That experience changed everything. I didn’t just want photos of my baby—I wanted to master newborn photography to give other parents something I never had: beautiful, timeless newborn portraits. That’s how Petite Studios was born.

A Comfortable & Professional Studio

My Naperville home studio, just minutes from downtown, is warm, cozy, and stress-free. With top-quality cameras, lenses, and lighting, I create stunning maternity, newborn, and baby portraits. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and baby-led to keep little ones happy and safe.

Why I Love Baby Photography

Every baby brings their own energy, making each session unique. I love capturing those sweet moments and believe displaying photos at home helps children feel loved and valued.

I have a master’s degree in business management and training from the New York Institute of Photography. Since 2017, Expertise.com has named me one of Naperville’s Best Newborn Photographers, and my Cake Smash photography has been featured on BBC News.

Giving Back

I donate 10% of all profits to child-focused charities. Originally from Colombia, I also speak Spanish and love working with families from all backgrounds.
